Forth and Clyde Canal This project involved the design and construction of two new pedestrian bridges over the canal, replacing the existing fixed bridge. Planning consent was granted in December 1999 and the construction contract was awarded to Charles Spencer Ltd. Construction work started in August 2000 and was completed in May 2001.
