Construction Progress at May 2001

Forth and Clyde Canal This project involved raising Kilbowie Road and realigning it, to enable the creation of vehicle turning circles on Seaforth Road on either side of the canal. A new concrete bridge was built to take Kilbowie Road over the canal. The contract for this work was awarded to R J McLeod who started work in January 2000 and completed in June 2001.
