Construction Progress at May 2000

Forth and Clyde Canal Construction of the new bridge which takes Cleveden Road over the canal and the towpath was completed in summer 2000. Babtie Group prepared the designs and Morrison Construction carried out the engineering works which also involved removing the existing culvert through which the canal had been channelled and building new retaining walls for the bridge hole.
