360º Aerial Panoramas

"Oh no! Another page with hundreds of pictures..." Well, hopefully not. The object is not to tell you my life story, but to show you what Virtual Reality KAP can achieve, as well as what you can photograph. Click on the images to see the Panoramas in Shockwave, Java, or Quick Time options. These images are half the full resolution. If one of these locations means anything to you, e-mail me and I can share more shots with you.

4th April: Cairnpapple Hill.
A favorite haunt for kiting, and a good location for capturing sky-panoramas because of the (almost) uninterrupted view. 5000 years of history too!

Although photographed in 2005 a fresh look at panospheres in 2006 made me look again at the equirectangular images that are used to make the
Virtual Reality images shown here.

Some of these raw images, have a beauty of their
own even though they represent 360º  from left to
right and 180º from top to bottom.
