The school can trace its roots back to 1128, possibly the 18th oldest in the world, but this site dates from 1968.
The school has around 1200 pupils from NW Edinburgh.

internal busial chambers is accessable from the promenant entrance.

Over thousands of years this coast is eroding, and at the same time giving up secrets
of communities now lost to the sea. Archeological digs take place here every year.

Dating probably from the 13th century, enlarged in 1350, Trinity Temple has a long ecclesiastical history,
finally falling into ruin during the 18th century.

Occupied by crofting families up to 1942, the islands 10miles off the North Uist Coast
are now a sanctuary for birds and seals with fading memories of human habitation.

The 41m Stevenson tower was lit from 1861-1942. In 1996 the minor light (right) was lit after the Braer Disaster.

The smallest of three great aqueducts on the Union Canal between Edinburgh and Falkirk.
Built in 1820, one of the last canals in the UK, before the coming of the railway.
