KAP: Gallery 2009

7^th February: Clackmannan Bridge Opened in November 2008, takes pressure off the original 1930s bridge and relieves traffic in Kincardine. R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09	16^th February: Nazaret, Lanzarote Typical village in the central area of the Canary Island with its whitewashed villas. Panobubble. Sutton Flowform 16 and Rig09	17^th Febru'y: Castillo de Guanapay Built on the lip of an extinct volcano, 452m, looking down on the ancient Lanzarote capital of Teguise. Sutton Flowform 16 and Rig09	18^th February: Vineyard, Lanzarote Each vine planted in a depression with a stone windbreak to protect the grapes from the heat and wind. 19^th Febru'y: Salt Pans, Lanzarote Salt is recovered from the sea in artificial ponds at Janubio, in the south west of the island. Sutton Flowform 16 and Rig09	21^st February: Teguise, Lanzarote In the town center an unusual view of San Miguel Plaza, from above the church of Guadalupe. Sutton Flowform 16 and Rig09	20^th April: Berck sur Mer Kite Festival 2009 Views of the beach and the town (click to see!) and a chance to meet up with old and new friends. Later in the day we went inland and visited the Abbey of Valloires. Peter Bults' Maxi Dopero and Rig10 (19mm) then Fled and Rig09.
29^th April: Blackness Castle. Not the best light (or wind) but a time-limit for the World-Wide KAP Weekend meant shoot whatever! R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09	13^th July: Abhainnsuidhe Castle. Grand and spectacular, and yet completely incongruous in the rugged rural island of Harris. R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09	15^th July: Scalpay Bridge. Opened in 1997, an ambitious project to stop the decline in the island of Scalpay by linking with larger Harris R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09	15^th July: Bunabhainneadar Whaling Station. Not much remains of this early 20C attempt to bring industry & employment to Harris. R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09
17^th July: MacGillivray Center, at Northton, South Harris, is a contemporary interpretive center celebrating naturalist William Mac- Gillivray. R8 Delta Cruiser & Rig09	21^st July: Calanais, Lewis The stone circle dates from 2900 - 2500 BC, located on the west coast of this Hebridean island. Bubble. Dopero 100 and Rig10 (19mm)	21^st July: Dun Carloway Broch, on the west coast of Lewis, with walls rising to 9m. Build around 1C BC, and occupied until 1300 AD. R8 Delta Cruiser & Rig10	22^nd July: Bunabhainneadar Tennis Court, North Harris, the most remote in the UK. We managed 45minutes before the heavens opened!. Dopero 100 and Rig10 (19mm)
24^th July: Rodel Church, Harris Build by the MacLeods around 1500 the present structure is mostly from 1784. In the care of HistoricScotland R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09, Bubble	24^th July: Northton, Harris, Outer Hebrides A brackish burn just north of Northton on South Harris has sculpted tiny islands in the peaty soil. Sometimes KAP lends itself to the unusual and the little details that are all around us. R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig09		9^th November: Cairnpapple An old haunt revisited on a windless anywhere else day to KAP with Peter Bults visiting from The Nederlands. R8 Delta Cruiser and Rig10
