Feb 9: Crichton Castle. Delightful ruined castle south of Edinburgh dating from the 14th century. See the Panobubble. Rig08 & Cruiser.
March: Revisit Bonifacio. Time to revisit this image from 2006. A distortion of the fisheye to square is another way of looking at Corsica. Rig07 & mini KAPilot.
Mar 17: Binns Tower. First outing for Rig09, not the best light, but a favorite haunt with easy access and favourable winds. Dopero 16.
Mar 22: Balintoy Harbour. Recently renovated harbour on the North Antrim Coast of Northern Ireland. See the Panobubble. Rig09 & Flowform 16.
Mar 23: Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. An unusual angle on this rope bridge. Originally erected annually by fishermen, now for tourists. Rig09 & Flowform 16.
Apr 6: Berck-sur-Mer, France. Weather could have been more accommodating for the kite festival. Pictures taken with Peter Bults' lightweight rig and Allsopp Helikite
Apr 7: Le Crotoy, France. Afternoon trip from Berck sur Mer kite festival to this small town to the south. Considering the morning started with snow, a great afternoon! Rig09 & mini KAPilot.
May 2: WWKW Cairnpapple Hill, West Lothian. I revisited this old haunt for the first worldwide KAP weekend, WWKW. Rig09 & Flowform 30.
May 8: Eilean Donnan Castle. One of Scotland's iconic castles, located near the village of Dornie,
on the road to Skye. Rig09 & Dopero.
Jun 7: Boness Station, SRPS. The 15:00 steam haul leaves Bo'ness Station for Birkhill. Rig09 & Cruiser.
Jul 21: Bowmore, Islay. Built in 1768, the first "planned" village in Scotland. The streets form a grid around the pier to the church. Rig09 & Cruiser.
Jul 23: Oronsay Priory. on a tiny tidal island, just off the small island of Colonsay (pop ~100). A KAPenture: weekly ferry, bicycles, and wading 1 mile between Colonsay and Oronsay as the tide retreated. Rig09 & Flowform 16.
Jul 24: Machir Beach Wreck, Islay An artist sketches the detail of wood and iron in the fading shipwreck, we look on from above. Rig09 & Flowform 16.
Jul 27: Cottage & Church. Holiday home near Bridgend and the ruined Kilchoman Church nearby, both on the island of Islay. Rig09 & Flowform 16.
Jul 29: Kildalton Church, Islay. 12C church. The cross in the graveyard in front dates from the 8C and is one of the oldest in Scotland. Rig09 & Cruiser
Sep 20: St. Monans Harbour, Fife. In the picturesque East Neuk of Fife, the characteristic pan-tiled, whitewashed cottages. Rig09 & Flowform 16.

Sep 24: Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland. Repeat of one of my first shoots in 2003, better light, but way too much wind! Rig09 & Trooper.
