4th April: Avon Aqueduct near Linlithgow on the Union Canal. The largest of the three aqueducts built on this contour canal between Falkirk and Edinburgh. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |

24th June: Penang Town Hall In Malaysia on business and found enough luggage allowance for autoKAP and time for a flight on Penang Island. Sutton Flowform 30 and Rig07, but with a Pentax 550. |

16th July: North Uist, Hebrides. A holiday on this island on Scotland's western seaboard. Based in this little cottage we looked out to the Atlantic across the Salt Marshes, where the deer came at night. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
17th July: Teampull Trionaid. Dating probably from C13, enlarged in 1350, Trinity Temple has a long ecclesiastical history. Click to see the effect as the evening shadows lengthened across the quiet ruin. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
18th July: Archeology Baleshare. A huge storm in January 2005 eroded this beach several metres, revealing the remains of dwellings 1000s of years old. Click to see the remains still buried and protected by blue plastic. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
19th July: Scolpaig Tower, North Uist. A C19 folly, now a ruin, built on the remains of an ancient defensible dwelling on an artificial island. Whatever, still makes a nice photograph! miniKAPilot and Rig08 |

20th July: North Uist Highland Games. There are only 1700 people on the island, but they demonstrate their strong community by organising many events each year. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
Whilst more formal games take place in the center (athletics & field events, demonstrations, dancing, bagpiping etc), the children play on this impressive yellow slide. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
21st July: North Uist to Benbecula Causeway. This single track road/causway runs for several Km jumping between tiny islands to connect the island communities. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
22nd July: Plants for Windy Places Inhabitants of North Uist work with the weather on this windswept coast, a nursery for wind-tolerant plants makes a living for some. Dopero 100 and Rig08 |

23rd July: Calarnais House, Uist. Built in the 1960's by the fifth Earl Granville, now the family home and unusual residence of the sixth Earl. See also a Panobubble and a Panosphere. miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
26th July: Dun an Sticer North Uist. These artificial defensive islands / dwellings date from 1000-500 BC. Very few have the original approach causeway intact. Dopero 100 and Rig08 |
19th Sep: Nendrum Monastry situated on Mahee Island in Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland. Used continuously from the 5th to the 15th century. See a Panobubble miniKAPilot and Rig08 |
2nd December: Penang Island, Malaysia. Fishing boats wait for dusk at a makeshift pier located off the east coast of the island. miniKAPilot and Rig07 set for autoKAP with a Ricoh GX100. |
