April: Bamburgh Castle one of the finest in England's Northumberland. Perched on a basalt outcrop on the very edge of the North Sea, the castle has been extensively restored, and is now the home of the Armstrong family. Rig02. and Sun Oak 9½' DC kite. |

July: Caledonian MacBrayne's MV Lord of the Isles loading at Tiree Pier. Despite a small airport the daily boat (in Summer) is still an island lifeline to Oban on Scotland's mainland. Rig02. and Sun Oak 9½' DC kite. |

August: Steam Haul at Bo'ness. Caledonian Railway No. 419 hauls the Scottish Railway Preservation Society's 12:15 from Bo'ness station up the hill to Birkhill Halt. Rig02. and Sun Oak 9½' DC kite. |

September: Lin's Mill Aqueduct, Union Canal, near Edinburgh. The smallest of three great aqueducts on this recently restored canal. British Waterways Photo Contest Special Mention 2003. JKPA photo contest winner 2004 Stratoscoop 2 & Rig02. |
October: Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island, Northumberland. Originally built in 1550 the castle was re-built in 1903 by Sir Edwin Lutyens as a grand private home. In the care of the National Trust. Rig02. and Sun Oak 9½' DC kite. |
October: St. Mary's Lighthouse This major landmark (which is now decommissioned) sits on a tidal island just north of Whitley Bay, Newcastle. It is now a museum maintained by the local authority. Rig02. and Sun Oak 9½' DC kite. |
October: Warkworth Castle Magnificent second home of the Dukes of Northumberland. Started in the 12th century the castle stands imposingly over a loop in the River Coquet. The care of English Heritage Rig02. and Sun Oak 9½' DC kite. |
